At Central we want to provide the questions that will be looked at in group before you head to your group. Each week this is where you will find the questions and some prayer requests.
If you are not yet in a group and are interested in joining a group, please send us an email to info@cbcyorkshire.com.
Welcome back to Group. At Central we believe that small group is an essential part of our walk as we grow together in community. If you have been a part of group please be reminded of our “empty chair” philosophy of growth, and if you are not yet involved know that the empty chair is for you!

1 John 5:16-17
Pastor Paul Williams
Question 1) “Prayer in the sense of petition, asking for things, is a small part of it; confession and penitence are its threshold, adoration its sanctuary, the presence and vision and enjoyment of God its bread and wine.” – C.S. Lewis What are your thoughts or reactions to this quote?
Question 2) Have you ever heard of the acrostic “A-C-T-S”? Regardless of this answer, are you mindful of your prayer life having these different layers?
Question 3) Regardless of your thoughts on whether the author is talking about physical death or spiritual death what can we take away from these verses?
Question 4) As we reflect on what we have covered in this study so far, how is prayer such a crucial piece to experiencing and knowing the Love of God?
